Main Living Area

This is a perfect place for families and friends to gather and celebrate the beauty of the mountains, in all its four seasons. We are just moments away from cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, hiking, horseback riding, hiking, hayrides and bird watching. Or, soak in our beautiful covered hot tub overlooking our vineyard. Your host, Ed Rutledge, will greet you upon your arrival and have you choose a bottle of wine from his wine cellar.

Just inside the front door is our living room and kitchen, furnished in a charming blend of European, cottage and country. Many of the pieces are antiques, including the massive pump organ, the large oak wine chest and tables and chairs. An electric fireplace makes the room cozy on chilly nights, and you are welcome to choose from a large selection of videos and box games for entertainment. For the readers in the group, peruse the bookshelf filled with hundreds of volumes from our personal library. We invite you to sit by the window, gaze out at the vineyard and enjoy.

The kitchen comes equipped with a full service for six of fine dishes, with a grape motif, to complete the vineyard theme. We have provided all the pans and utensils for cooking even the most gourmet meals, and the refrigerator is stocked with a European continental breakfast. Loft Area

This charming, upstairs area, featuring a big, cozy double bed and two singles snuggled behind charming curtains, reminiscent of those old-fashioned train sleepers. This is a nice setting for a family—the children love our "hideaways", which even have their own reading lights. An antique table and chairs is the perfect place for a puzzle, game or cards, or to just sit around and visit. An upstairs sink and vanity is provided for your convenience.

Cabernet Room Floral prints and rose colored walls will transport you in spirit to the European countryside as you relax in this room, featuring a unique wood and iron queen sized bed and views of the Eagle Creek valley. Antique furniture pieces lend that Old World ambiance.

Chardonnay Room

One of two downstairs bedrooms, this one beckons with colors of the grape harvest. Rich, vine-colored walls blend beautifully with the ruby red accents in the comforters and curtains. Like a fine glass of wine, the room will lull you into a peaceful slumber. An exquisite rod-iron, queen sized bed is accented by antique tables and chairs. The bathroom is just across the hall, but there is a sink and vanity in your room for your convenience.
